Apartment-building managers' knowledge check

About this exam

The knowledge check that the Urban Development Committee holds for managers of apartment buildings, under Government decision N 1737-Ն of 12 October 2023. Condominium, trust and authorised managers need it: buildings engage their managers from the Committee's published list of people who passed. Managers already at work must apply for training within two years of the decision taking effect on 1 July 2025, and anyone with secondary vocational or higher education who wants to manage buildings can take the test after the Committee's training course or after studying on their own. The test has 20 questions from the Committee's published bank; each correct answer gives 1 point, and 15 points pass. Those who do not pass can apply for a later test. The bank is the annex to order N 162-Ա of the Committee's chair, in the file of 1 July 2026: 554 questions on 18 of the 19 legal acts the decision lists, from the Law on the Management of Apartment Buildings and the Civil Code to the seismic building norms. The rules set no time limit, so the 40 minutes here are Parapel's practice setting.
